Why should Stone or anyone accrue legal costs for this - remember the entire legal process is itself part of the punishment regime and a form of financial torture - if you want to think about it that way.

Stone will appeal and stay out of jail in the meantime.Probably will appeal but I can't find any statements from the defense team on the subject. If they intend to argue that the jury was biased, I don't know why they didn't even ask for a change of venue. That's what OJ got.
