Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin (R) has conceded defeat in last week's nail-biting election after a statewide recanvass of the vote did not show a significant change in the vote count.
Bevin had asked Kentuckys 120 counties to conduct a recanvass in the days after his narrow loss to Attorney General Andy Beshear (D). Beshear beat Bevin by just 5,189 votes, or about four-tenths of a percentage point, though Bevin brought up unsubstantiated allegations of voting irregularities.
But he acknowledged at a press conference Thursday that the recanvass would not make a significant difference in the vote count. He said he would not ask the Republican-controlled legislature overturn the results.

Damn!!!
I saw this coming. It greatly saddens me, but I saw it coming.
The good news is that in his office building he is a democrat in a sea of republicans.
He did not put up much of a fight.
He would have lost by 5000 votes even if every republican in the state had voted for him twice
That house plant aka Allison Grimes is the KY Sec. of state and you can bet the recount was half-hearted at best. The best thing the R’s in KY can do is the legislature can make Jr. deal with the pensions that daddy looted and the new R Attorney General can put his legal foot up Jr’s ass 24/7/52.
Bevin lost this because of his own big mouth. My best at work has a family friend that works in the govs office and according to her they would tell him gov. no don’t say XYZ here or in this speech, you need to say it in this area of the state and it was like water off a ducks back. He had good intentions but just doesn’t know when to shut up.
And in so doing, inflicts tremendous damage upon our case that Democrat voter fraud is real.
Either you fight tooth-and-nail to the bitter end, or you don’t raise the allegation.
I suspect your comments are all correct. And it didn’t help that that third party Losertarian was in the race!
Millie Weaver reported 175,000 names were re-added to the voter rolls by the State AG (Andy Beshear)...who also happened to be the DNC nominee for Gov.
Beshear won by 5,000 votes.
I guess those extra 175,000 dead people didn’t vote.
They have evidence of vote fraud. But as usual- there is no one that is going to take it on to the point of proving it. Soros and the democrats are now involved with vote tallies in the vast majority of the states. It is not just the machines anymore. Now it is their software that controls the tallies at the statewide level.
In the case of this race in Kentucky it was shown in a press conference that in one moment the Governor lost 560 volts and then those votes instantly appeared in the Democrat column. That is the Beauty of using electronic voting and electronic tabulation. The votes can be changed and all records of that change are instantly deleted. And there are no ballots left to show fraud. The latest is that now all of the poll books are being converted to electronic form so they can be changed on the fly- Leaving no official record of those changes having occurred.
I guess that Americans deserve what they get for letting all of this happen.
Prove it then, or they sound just like Stacey Abrahms.
For some reason Bevin managed to make himself very unpopular, in short period of time.
He was well regarded just a few years ago, but recently many Kentuckians became disillusioned with him. Not sure why.
“The good news is that in his office building he is a democrat in a sea of republicans.”
The ship is holding so far for Wisconsin, too. ‘One and Done’ Evers (D, WI) whines all day long about how ‘unfair’ it is that the WI Pubbies won’t work with him, LOL!
I’m loving it! :)
In KY, Bevin was an aberation. The republicnas are gaining ground here. His problem was that he was doing things that will help, but the voters don’t like it. So he was ousted not because he was a republican, but because he was goring too many peoples’ ox to get the state budget in order.
And this is important: In spite of being the least popular governor in the nation, he was beat by only around 5k votes in a state where over 1.5 million votes were cast.
i.e. he STILL almost won.
The GOP is absolutely WORTHLESS!!!!!!
Kentucky’s executive branch now controlled by a DEMONRAT. Sure, Republicans have the legislature, but the DEMONRAT governor can do a lot of things to oppress those they consider Deplorables.
First off if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and Quacks like a duck.....
Why rig(by changing) the entire system to be susceptible to vote fraud at every point in the game unless vote fraud is the intended purpose.
Second off. CIA?
The ground must be soft in those Kentucky cemeteries.
Interesting how popular this characterization has become lately in the msm, when applied to Democrat corruption and illegalities being called out by Republicans.
Ive been around awhile, and have seen more than my share of unsubstantiated allegations leveled against conservatives, but I cant recall the media ever labelling them as such.
