An army of emotional support dogs was on hand Wednesday to help stressed-out Capitol Hill lawmakers and staffers weary after a year of impeachment-related drama.
Hundreds of journalists, policy wonks and politicians including Rep. Cheri Bustos (D-Ill.) lined up to see the pooches as the first day of public impeachment hearings got underway.
One frazzled Senate staffer was seen clinging to a Japanese Spitz, while a handsome Collie named Remy was only too happy to take Bustos’ mind off collusion and quid pro quo. Blue the Goldendoodle also wore a tie for the special occasion.

I was gonna recommend a bunch of dogs like the one that got the towel head over there in the middle east because we got a bunch of domestic bag-daddies that need that special therapy.

Sounds like animal abuse. Poor dogs.

I was a RED CROSS volunteer during Desert Storm at Walter Reed on the AMPUTATION WARD and we had therapy dogs!!!!

While both Steffens The Shame of the Cities’ and David G Phillips ‘The Treason of the Senate’ are muckraker propaganda they are powerful portraits of the pervasive and bald faced venality of the political class. Men such as Chauncey Depew were open in their posture that major corporations rather than the people were who they served. (Depew was appropriately called the Senator from the New York Central and Hudson Railroad.)

I heard 4 of those dogs committed suicide after those meetings.
Dogs DO make for great stress relievers and bring comfort. These congress critters should just snuggle with themselves (the dirty dogs).
At my son’s small college they had a shooting with one dead and many wounded. The campus is surrounded on three sides by residential neighborhoods. A few of the student groups went out into the neighborhoods and told the dog walkers to use the campus so the kids could play with the dogs.
Word got out and the place was overrun by dogs - much to the delight of the students.
I hope these commies get bit in the ass.

A buddy of mine has a blue healer I’d like to send...he’d herd them all up and hold them in place.
