INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Three judges involved in a May 1 shooting in downtown Indianapolis will face suspensions without pay followed by reinstatement, according to a decision by the Indiana Supreme Court.
As previously reported, judges Andrew Adams, Bradley Jacobs and Sabrina Bell were out socializing around 3 a.m. on the night of the incident and decided to walk to a nearby White Castle on South Street.
Court documents said that the judges were outside the restaurant, and that Bell was intoxicated at this time. Around 3:17 a.m., an SUV drove past the group and yelled something, allegedly prompting Bell to extend her middle finger to the occupants of the SUV.
Alfredo Vazquez parked the SUV and got out with Brandon Kaiser, and a fight ensued in which Adams and Jacobs were shot by Kaiser.

extend her middle finger to the occupants of the SUV.
My wife used to do that to cars in front us while I was driving. The driver would look in his/her rear view mirror and give Me the stinky eye and keep driving. Fortunately no altercations.
Judges are now involved in shootings and crime, amazing. A benchmark breakdown of the judicial system
I remembered them for 10 cent burgers back in the early ‘50s. Went there after roller-skating. All we could afford, 50 cents for skating, 25 cents for 2 burgers and a Coke, about 25 cents for gas. Nice evening on a buck a person.
This whole situation is stupid - 3 judges (2 guys, one girl) are in the city for a conference and go out bar hopping after a night on the town they get the white castle cravings and head over to the nearest one. While in the parking lot 2 other guys (one old, one young) pass by and the drunk women judge makes some smart-a** comment (I’m presuming she alluded to the sexuality of the guys) which ticks off the guys and they start shouting back. The 2 male judges defend the women judge, fight ensures and one of the guys pulls out a gun and shoots both male judges.
The shooters story gets buried (the younger one was on parole with tracking bracelet but isn’t charged), the male judges get pilloried in the press for conduct unbecoming of judges and getting themselves shot (for defending a female judge?!) and the female judge barely gets a mention and the smallest punishment from judicial branch.
So these 3 judges walk into a bar. First judge judge says, “I’ll have a shot of...”[BANG!]

Nothing good happens after midnight.
This is one of those “local stories” where the media reports just don’t make sense. Something significant was “left out”. Probably edited out at the insistence of a prosecutor or something. I used to read articles like this all the time in the Philly area growing up and you’d just kind of go “hmmm...”. Then maybe you’d hear a rumor a week or 2 later that most likely leaked from the police, but by that time the Media has moved on.
I would have disbarred them
“Nothing good happens after midnight.”
Especially less than half a mile from Dr. MLK Jr St.
A great philosopher once said...
“After midnight we’re gonna let it all hang out
After midnight we’re gonna chug-a-lug and shout
We’re gonna cause talk and suspicion
Give ‘em an exhibition
Find out what it is all about”
Those 3 need to be shown the door for cultural appropriation...
That’s a man, baby!
I remember 15 cents in Detroit. Now 70 cents in St. Louis. They still taste the same. Love them sliders. :-D
Isnt it West St at that point?
For what exactly? Drinking? Getting the munchies? Defending themselves? Getting shot?
She doesn’t look very bangable, but apparently others disagree.
Judging be hard. They really need their down time
"The plea agreement received Friday stipulates that Vazquez plans to plead guilty to a class A misdemeanor for battery, with the remaining six charges to be dismissed. No recommendation for a sentence is outlined in the agreement, but the state recommends that Vazquez have probation revoked in a separate case and be sentenced to 180 days on home incarceration in that case."
