FORD: By Wednesday evening I think were gonna have a very strong sense. I think by Wednesday evening, and perhaps Friday afternoon after the ambassador comes forward, were gonna have a much better sense if Nancy Pelosi, who I think has been the most mature of all the politicians in DC around this issue, cause I dont think she really wanted to do this. But, if she does not feel that Democrats can have a sound vote, bipartisan vote, and maybe even move to the Senate with a chance to remove the president, I wouldnt be surprised if she didnt pull this in the next several days, if this first week does not go well.
San Fran Gran Nan better get an exit strategy. And fast.

INCONVENIENT FACTOID: Extortion is used in the language of legal jurisprudence WRT interstate commerce.
The word has no legal connotation in foreign policy lingo.
We need to drive home these facts:
<><> Dems are putting the foreign policy of other countries ahead of the interests of the USA;
<><> they would protect a foreign govt over the US;
<><> they are punishing a US president with impeachment for a foreign countrys corruption.
(Hat tip Political Junkie Too)
Democrats are protecting the interests of foreign countries by using the word extortion to refer to foreign policy.

GOP needs to interrupt repeatedly and frequently with Points of Order or Personal Privilege and attempt to call their witnesses or ask questions. Make Schift gavel them down on national TV.
