Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar is calling the ouster of Bolivian President Evo Morales a 'coup' after the socialist leader resigned from office under pressure from the military.
Omar, the 'squad' member and frequent critic and target of President Trump, made the statement after Morales, the first indigenous leader of Bolivia, left office Sunday after 14 years in power. The military had pressured him to go amid street protests.
The Organization of American States (OAS) denounced 'clear manipulations' in his reelection bid and urged new elections be held.
'There's a word for the President of a country being pushed out by the military. It's called a coup,' Omar tweeted Sunday night. 'We must unequivocally oppose political violence in Bolivia. Bolivians deserve free and fair elections,' she said. Morales, 60, flew out of La Paz and was believed to still be in Bolivia - but his exact whereabouts were unclear.

But it isn’t their game. Because they’ve been told that nothing you say will happen. Their teachers and professors, secure in their jobs, have convinced them that nothing you described can and will happen as long as the government taxes all corporations and the 1%, to the hilt. I know someone, very liberal and loves AOC, that works in advertising. One day, on her Facebook page, she complained that her dog had health insurance but she didn’t. Hmmmmmm.....I thought obamacare was supposed to solve that problem. Hmmm, No? Why not? Plans too expensive. In 2008-09, before obamacare, she could have got a high deductible plan from BC/BS for around $150-200/month. But wait, it gets better. She has a job. I’ll presume that those she works with and for are of the same political leanings. Why doesn’t she get a healthcare plan from her boss? Because at the end of the day, her boss is a capitalist. He/she wants his/her money, in his/her pocket. How do they do that? Make sure they have less than 50 employees, so they don’t have to comply with obamacare.
Anywho.....I completely understand what you’re saying, but if you wrote that in crayon and had Che, Castro, Stalin, Lenin, Chaven, Maduro & Marx explain it to them, they still wouldn’t believe it. They think money money grows on trees, just like they think vegetables grow in the vegetable aisle. They’re unaware and ignorant of what it takes to make things run. For them, things just run for their leisure.

Like any cancer, the Soviet infiltration of our country took a while to grow and spread. What we are seeing now is the metastasis of this infiltration that began in the 1950s. I hope it is not too late to stop it.
It seems that the people of Bolivia agree with her on wanting free and fair elections.

Earlier on Sunday, Morales had said he would call a new election after the OAS (Organization of American States) identified serious irregularities in the last vote and recommended a new ballot.
A preliminary report based on the OAS audit of the vote said it had found “clear manipulations” of the voting system and could not verify a first-round victory for Morales.
Carlos Mesa, the runner-up candidate in the disputed election, tweeted: “I will never forget this singular day. The end of tyranny. I am grateful as a Bolivian for this historic lesson.” Earlier on Sunday, Mesa said Morales and García Linera should be disqualified from participating in new elections as they had committed fraud.

As annoying as “The Squad” is, they are priceless assets. Every time one of them opens her mouth 25,000 Democrats leave the party.
Decent people need our own Long March through the Institutions, where productive, patriotic Americans infiltrate our schools, our universities, the press, and even the FBI and CIA.
Real Americans prefer productive jobs to government work, but protecting freedom is the most productive thing we can do. Don’t retire; get a job teaching public school. Don’t retire, teach as an adjunct professor. Don’t retire, take a job with your local newspaper. Engineer/Analyst/manager/military? Check out job openings with the FBI/CIA.
She clearly hates the America we grew up in and the America that so many have fought and died for. She is the product of a ‘death to America by rapid demographic shifts’ approach that has been used by our enemies - foreign and domestic.

President Trump, a white man, won his election by following the Constitutional rules governing it, thereby stealing it from the rightful winner, a person of vagina, even though she got more popular votes! Progressives everywhere united to stop this monster from taking office. First they demanded recounts in states he narrowly won, then they begged his electors to vote for someone else, and when that failed they vowed resistance by any means necessary.
When, in spite of the Resistance’s best efforts, Trump was inaugurated, plans were laid to remove him from office. Impeachment was one obvious choice because the only way the smartest woman in the world could lose was through criminal means. Trump’s mere running for office was a crime. The lack of evidence of a crime merely shows what a cunning criminal Trump is.
As the voice of truth, the New York Times, put it, the deep state is a blessing. Dedicated bureaucrats trying to undo the mistake voters made in 2016. In no way can this be considered a coup, but rather a putting right a terrible wrong.
So please do not even imply that the situations are similar.

Omar came to the US as a child refugee. She didn’t come like most immigrants, by a personal choice. That’s the problem.
