Laura Cooper, the top Pentagon official overseeing U.S. policy regarding Ukraine, told House impeachment investigators last month that President Donald Trump directed the relevant agencies to freeze aid to Ukraine over the summer, according to a transcript of her testimony released Monday.

That’s because President Trump wanted an accounting of the $7 billion that was unaccounted for during the Obama years.
Another reason for the freeze.....the president wanted our so-called NATO allies to kick in some of the money.
President Trump succeeded in getting our NATO allies to spend $100 billion additional on NATO defense. In other words, the president saved the American taxpayers $100 billion.
Of course, you will never hear the media report this news.

The President has already said he froze the aid for a while - this twit (did I spell that right?) was “surprised when her subordinates told her it happened” which means she hadn’t a clue of what was going on and thinks being surprised is an offense against the surpriser instead of the ignorant.
