The 2nd District of NY is an R+3. It voted 53-44 for Trump. Why is it 100% that a Dem will replace King?

King's daughter recently moved to North Carolina.

I'm willing to bet that every Trump voter in that district has already done the same thing since 2016, or is planning to do it as soon as the opportunity presents itself.

Because a +3 R seat is not a safe R seat. In addition, the districts will be withdrawn for the 2022 election and a strong incumbent is valuable with new and different territory.
