Hong Kong police have fired three live rounds at two protesters in Sai Wan Ho during city-wide strike action.

Protesters were blocking roads at an intersection outside Tai On Building in Sai Wan Ho. At around 7:15am, a police officer tried to give chase before he pulled out a service pistol and pointed it at them, according to footage captured by Cupid Producer. He then grabbed a protester in white, and shot another black-clad protester in the stomach at close range.

I’m no friend of the PRC, but all these stupid violent folks are doing is providing an excuse for the CCP to intervene and really take control of HK. They already have a ton of troops nearby in Shenzhen as well as beefing up the Hong Kong garrison.

Don’t be a dolt.

The issue is much bigger than these incidents.

You’re spreading ChiCom propaganda, FYI.

How obtuse can you be. CCP already has taken over.

Whether street fighting is going to help is questionable, and the question remains how much is false flag agent provocateurs, but the CCP are already in control of Hong Kong.

Antifa does not fight communists.

Fighting against totalitarians who have taken over your country is not antifa.

You are purely supporting CCP viewpoint and talking points.

If CCP does not back down and take hands off Hong Kong, as per their treaty with UK I think there will be a lot more violence.

It’s called war. This is nothing.

And when exactly was the last time you were in Hong Kong, since you seem to have so much knowledge about the situation?

CCP only lets HK exist because it’s economically beneficial. HKers walk a thin line. What the “protesters” are doing now is trashing HK’s own economy, and providing more evidence for remaining productive HKers to get out and go to places like Singapore if they can. If they keep on doing what they are doing HK is going to be a burnt out shell of what it was, and the CCP will have no problem completely taking over. There is no one to defend HK, and the U.S. is too weak to do anything in Asia any longer. At least Taiwan has some backup in Japan in terms of long-term friendship between the two countries even if it’s not officially recognized, but HK has no one that will stand up for it.

> “The legitimate protesters stopped long ago.”

Why did the legitimate protesters stop at all? Did the HK government ever respond to their remaining four demands?

Since Antifa are left-wing thugs, why are they causing trouble for the CCP who desperately need the protests in HK to stop, but who dare not roll the tanks into HK yet?

Besides, it is widely known that the infiltrated HK police had on many occasions disguised themselves as protesters to incite violence and actually commit violent acts in order to smear the protesters. They even worked with gang members to beat up ordinary citizens. These tactics are nothing new and are totally consistent with the well-documented behavior of the CCP inside China.

I have seen enough bloody scenes on videos of police brutality against the protesters, gory scenes of the aftermath of knife attacks on protesters, with one opposition lawmaker having his ear savagely bitten off, obviously done to instill terror to deter people from taking to the streets; add to the fact that over a hundred protesters are dead (suicided), several lost their eyes and many more were severely injured as a result of murderous actions of the police, it will take a lot more to convince people that the protesters are the bad guys and not the police and the CCP behind them.

Hopefully Antifa. There should be a bounty for gut-shooting those bastards.

> “CCP only lets HK exist because it’s economically beneficial.”

So it should not come as a surprise to you that the CCP is actually more concerned about the economy of Hong Kong being trashed than the people of HK.

The HK people already know enough about what it is like living under communist rule and they don’t want that, and have decided that freedom is more important than money. The trashing is unfortunate but I understand their frustration seeing how the police is ruthlessly cracking down on even peaceful gatherings. Having no support is not their fault and only speaks to their determination.

What is the evidence the organization known as “Antifa” is officially involved? I’d be open to looking at this allegation.

[The “protestors” are basically the Hong Kong version of Antifa.]

They want what they cannot have - a Hong Kong free to decide its own future. I’d say they’re a little like the participants in the Guangzhou uprisings or the Boston Massacre - they’re prepared for burial in an anonymous mass grave.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xinhai_Revolution#First_Guangzhou_Uprising
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_Guangzhou_Uprising
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boston_Massacre

Do they want to die? Presumably not. But are they willing to risk their lives despite the unknowable possibility of a positive outcome? Yes, just as the Patriots prepared to take on the British Army that had just defeated the French in the Canadian provinces.

The principal difference between Hong Kong’s protestors and the Antifa - isn’t just ideology (Antifa are Marxist totalitarians, whereas the HK protestors are opposed to Marxist totalitarians) - is that the Antifa know that Democratic municipal governments are not only sympathetic to their cause, but will actively assist them. Whereas Hong Kong’s protestors are in real danger, with handful already killed by the police.

Re destruction of property belonging to Party-loving businessmen in Hong Kong, the Patriots weren’t exactly into treating Loyalists with kid gloves:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loyalist_(American_Revolution)#Numbers_of_Loyalists
[In areas under Patriot control, Loyalists were subject to confiscation of property, and outspoken supporters of the king were threatened with public humiliation such as tarring and feathering, or physical attack. It is not known how many Loyalist civilians were harassed by the Patriots, but the treatment was a warning to other Loyalists not to take up arms. In September 1775, William Drayton and Loyalist leader Colonel Thomas Fletchall signed a treaty of neutrality in the interior community of Ninety Six, South Carolina.[27] For actively aiding the British army when it occupied Philadelphia, two residents of the city were tried for treason, convicted, and executed by returning Patriot forces.[28]]

I’d say in some ways, HK protestors are more courageous than the participants in the Guangzhou uprisings. Sun Yat-sen and his band of revolutionaries were raising funds for weaponry, acquiring and smuggling arms to where mass actions were planned, training revolutionaries and suborning soldiers and commanders in the existing Imperial Chinese Army. These kids are flying blind. And they know what happened at Tiananmen Square on June 4, 1989.

You really haven’t been paying attention. It’s the CIA plants that are agitating.

All the more reason to shoot the black clad "agitators" without hesitation.

I'd use snipers to do the dirty work, and let the global interventionists howl.

Thanks.

Party line.

You don’t understand, if you’re sincere, how much you are spreading CCP talking points.

Are you of the opinion most of the fighting is CCP false flag provocation?
