CCP only lets HK exist because it’s economically beneficial. HKers walk a thin line. What the “protesters” are doing now is trashing HK’s own economy, and providing more evidence for remaining productive HKers to get out and go to places like Singapore if they can. If they keep on doing what they are doing HK is going to be a burnt out shell of what it was, and the CCP will have no problem completely taking over. There is no one to defend HK, and the U.S. is too weak to do anything in Asia any longer. At least Taiwan has some backup in Japan in terms of long-term friendship between the two countries even if it’s not officially recognized, but HK has no one that will stand up for it.

So it should not come as a surprise to you that the CCP is actually more concerned about the economy of Hong Kong being trashed than the people of HK.

The HK people already know enough about what it is like living under communist rule and they don’t want that, and have decided that freedom is more important than money. The trashing is unfortunate but I understand their frustration seeing how the police is ruthlessly cracking down on even peaceful gatherings. Having no support is not their fault and only speaks to their determination.

Thanks.

Party line.

You don’t understand, if you’re sincere, how much you are spreading CCP talking points.

Are you of the opinion most of the fighting is CCP false flag provocation?
