If Nikki walked those statements back, saying that she was wrong to remove the original flag and that now supports it being returned, would you consider her ‘application’ for VP then?
Such an intention (to become VP for Trump in 2020) may not even be what she wants, I don’t know anything about her thoughts. But if she did try to re-introduce herself as a republican, could you ever see her as a republican asset vs a negative influence?
Watch her interview with Ben Shapiro.
Shes good and shes honest. She was a great support to Trump at the UN, and left on good terms...basically, I think, because she realized that other Administration people were actually undermining both her and Trump at every turn and she didnt feel she was up to hand-to-hand combat with these people.
I have family in SC, and they said that after the 2015 massacre in Charleston, for which the killer (grandson of an important SC judge) claimed Confederate inspiration,, there really wasnt any way she could keep that flag. He was crazy, but she did the best thing she could do, which was defuse the issue except with some out of staters. Most people in SC didnt like this but understood it because of the awfulness of the crime against innocent people.
I will never vote for ineligible candidates.
The children of foreign nationals are themselves foreign nationals, even if we foolishly give them citizenship.
They are not natural born citizens.
I remember that she apologized once it was too late for what she thought to matter and I figure doing something she knew went against Trump's agenda and then apologizing is what got her removed from her UN job. It's an old approach attributed to Grace Hopper, It's easier to apologize than to get permission".
I doubt that works well with Trump and don't think it would work twice if it even worked the first time.
She isn’t eligible to run for president. If she, by miracle, did win, the Democrats would raise this issues and it would mean lengthy litigation, and she would likely lose.
She is not a natural born citizen and she is not authentic. She positions herself however she thinks it will advance her goals.
President Trump put her at the UN to get her out of the Governorship so someone he could work better with would take over. The UN was a good role for her but not as a stepping stone to higher office. She is not trustworthy and I would not vote for her.
