If just 5,000 FReepers took the $17.76 quarterly challenge ($5.92/month), that would eliminate FReeperthons overnight.
This month is my 20th anniversary here on FR. (Old man voice) I remember the Clinton Chronicles, Alamo-Girl's six degrees of Clinton separation, the Bush vs Buchanan wars, the recount, the Ron Paul/Guiliani/Fred Thompson/Romney wars, Sarah Palin, Ted Cruz vs Trump...etc. I've been banned, kicked, counter-punched by none other than Head FReeper Jim Rob and a host of other FReepers and got battle scars to prove it! But this site needs to be supported. Let's do the $17.76 quarterly challenge and end FReeperthons altogether!!
I agree. I’d save lots of money if we had quarterly payments of about $18. I’m sure I’m one of the few here, over 75, that had to go beck to work to survive.
I’m just letting you know that if something is truly important, then some sacrifice is necessary. I couldn’t get through most days without my visits to FR.
Therefore, I’m willing to support it, and now I’m willing to ask those of you who are here at least once a week to support FR too.

It’s easy enough to go out once a month and do the deal - why so many prissy people that need to have things handed to them hang out here I’ll never figure out.
Most just seem to be making up excuses for why they prefer being on the FR dole where others pay for their privilege.
