It gives me no pleasure to report that I agree, on just this one thing, with Donald Trump Jr., who went on The View Thursday to say he shouldn’t be condemned for naming the Ukraine whistle-blower when ABC News is cracking down on its own Jeffrey Epstein–related leaker.
This is a matter on which Trump Jr. is both self-serving and hypocritical, but let us acknowledge this broken clock. News organizations should not hunt down leakers in their ranks, not when it’s a matter of valid public interest — specifically, how the press reported on a serial abuser — even if the ultimate beneficiary is an ethics-free garbage fire like James O’Keefe’s right-wing muckraking outfit, Project Veritas.

The people ABC and CBS and the rest of the media are protecting, are their own. Their own in high places in the media (ABC, CBS, Hollywood) and their own political buddies in the democratic party.
To ABC/CBS/media, those they are protecting, are ‘family’. You don’t give up your family members. Clinton and Hillary are on the list, and those are heroes to the left.
Giving up the goods means opening up a can of worms bigger than a can the size of the Empire State Building. The number of names, and the elite names on the list, would stagger the mind.

That's the nature of spies in a conspiracy.
They cover their own tracks, and leave the likely suspects to fend for themselves.
Then they complain about the "collateral damage" that the other side causes by not capitulating to their subversive activities.
I'm sure that the ABC News whistleblower had pure motives, but it's still fruit of a poison tree that is ABC's refusal to run a story hostile to the leftist agenda. ABC set in motion the events that led to a conscientious objector releasing the truth, which led to ABC retaliating against the wrong person while setting up the biggest hypocrisy of them all when a fake whistleblower is trying to take down a duly elected President.
This will have repercussions. I remember when the ABC News anchors would end their shows by thanking us for letting them into our homes. Now, we know they are abusing that trust for their own gain.
Today, the price paid was a twentysomething worker who probably has school loans to pay and thought she had it made.
