Dems Warn Against Calling Bidens to Testify: It ‘Would Be Rolling a Grenade Down The Senate'

Senate Democrats issued stark warnings on Wednesday that Republicans would severely damage the institution of Congress if they acquiesced to a push from Trump allies to haul former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter for testimony about their actions in Ukraine.

A top Biden ally, Sen. Chris Coons (D-DE), told The Daily Beast that calling the 2020 presidential contender—who served for 35 years in the Senate—and his son for testimony “would be literally rolling a grenade down the aisle of the Senate” that would have “lasting consequences” on the upper chamber’s ability to work together.

The idea of bringing in the Bidens to testify has gained traction in recent days as allies of President Donald Trump have flirted with counter-programming the impeachment proceedings in the House by having the GOP-led Senate call witnesses of their own.

I sincerely hope that whoever answers that complaint will use a phrase ending with “and the horse you rode in on”!

On the advice of Senator Chris Coons, I am sending out Subpoena’s TO)DAY for Joe and Hunter Biden to Testify under Oath, in PUBLIC about their dealings with Ukraine, John Kerry will Testify next week about the State Department involvement.

Such a “grenade” would certainly leave a few Republican senators open to exposure of their own “high crimes” and misdemeanors.

I'm still not seeing the problem here.

F**k you, Coons. Thanks to your side, it’s too late for “civility.” Bring the Bidens in to testify, as well as other Dems and their spawn who unjustly enriched themselves at the public’s expense.

Maybe the Republicans should subpoena Guliani instead, and have him read the affidavits of the Ukrainian prosecutor who was fired because of Hunter.

Better, call the Ukrainian prosecutor himself.

But it is okay to roll that same grenade, or bigger bombs, into the White House. We are not here to ‘protect’ the Senate and it’s prerogatives. We are trying to save the Republic and all of our democratic (as in democracy) institutions and prevent a civil war.

What an elitist piece of shit, actually goes for all democrats.
