No offense, but that post is the kind of idiocy that turns me off to so many of my fellow conservatives.

You had an election where only 31% of registered voters even bothered to vote. Instead of blaming 27,000 nitwits who voted for the Libertarian candidate, why don’t you ask yourself what happened to the 300,000-500,000 people in Kentucky who voted for candidates like Donald Trump and Rand Paul in recent elections but couldn’t even get their asses to a voting booth yesterday?

For people citing "changing demographics" for Virginia's dramatic partisan shift.

2008 electorate

White - 70%

Black - 20%

Latino - 5%

Female - 54%

2018 electorate

White - 68%

Black - 22%

Latino - 6%

Female - 52%

It's virtually identical.

Lighten up. What I said about the found boxes of ballots, etc was a joke. Elections are all about turnout so I agree that those who sat home were and are idiots.

This is a perfect example of the phrase, “we will get the government we deserve”. I have no sympathy for what is coming down the road if our side doesn’t pull their collective heads out of their asses and start fighting back.
