A list of President Trump's new judge nominees is at the link.
Edward Carnes, current chief justice of 11th ckt and GOP appointed is going to senior status. He was born in 1950. Andrew Brasher will replace as an active judge on 11th. Also a GOP appointed and RAT appointed judge are also going to senior in three 11th.
When Stanley Marcus is replaced, GOP appointed judges are 7-5 majority which flips another circuit to us.
The next two oldest judges in 11th are RATS, born in 1954 and 1955.
Future Circuit Court vacancies announced: three 11th Circuit & two Ninth Circuit; all five have nominees in place.
There are Twelve future District Court vacancies that await nominees, all generated by Republican appointed judges electing senior service, two future District Court seats have nominees.
The listing on https://www.uscourts.gov/judges-judgeships/judicial-vacancies/current-judicial-vacancies doesn’t include judicial nominations made since 10/30.
Total Vacancies:103 Total Nominees Pending: 49 as of 10/30
There have been an additional 10 nominations today: 1 Circuit nominee, the third in the 11th Circuit, 7 district judges and 2 tax court judges.
There are now 59 pending nominees.
Of the 103 current vacancies five are Circuit Court: two 2nd Circuit, two 9th Circuit and one 5th Circuit. Two nominees, one from the 2nd & one from the 9th are on track to be confirmed tomorrow.
All open Circuit seats have nominees although some nominees are having trouble in committee meetings.
Earlier I said Graham would honor blue slips. So forget the district courts as open. Those are all blue slips.
Trump just submitted a big list for the rest.
He has made all needed nominations.
Another Appellate Judge confirmed yesterday: 44.
If all Donald Trump did for his legacy was appoint judges, he would be a hero. OTOH, if he were efficient at some of the other stated causes (that DEFICIT!!!!) as he has been in the judiciary, he would be a new George Washington/Thomas Jefferson rolled into one.
Good job, Mr President.
Trump could probably began work on the deficit if he hadn’t been so tied up with the coup. If we can get him elected again maybe he will tackle that quagmire.
If I remember correctly, LS, blue slips makes it harder to get the nominees confirmed. So if Graham is honoring them, the question is why? Did Grassley? Why is Graham slowing Trump’s progress a year before Graham is turning committee back to Grassley?
I think the answer is that Ds honored them under Zero.
According to Zen Master, both parties (in most cases) followed this deference for years.
History of blue slips:
The new list includes the future star Andrew Brasher for the 11th Circuit.

The DemocRATS had a conniption when he was being confirmed for his District Court judgeship. Ill love to see their whining when he goes through the Appeals Court confirmation process.
And Lindsey, he had a background investigation and hearing just last year so theres no reason you cant accelerate the confirmation process this time with a simple update confirmation.
And youre right, LS, I think hell definitely be a star!
Total Vacancies:103 Total Nominees Pending: 49 as of 10/30

The total nominees pending count at the site you linked to is NEVER right. Their are currently 78 Trump nominees pending Senate action. See at below linked site:
https://ballotpedia.org/Federal_judges_nominated_by_Donald_Trump
That site is always delayed but it is the official Government site.
I also use https://www.judiciary.senate.gov/nominations/judicial and to see which nominees have been brought to the Senate floor I use https://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/executive_calendar/xcalv.pdf
Thank you for your link. It’s always good to have another spot to check. Each site is better for some aspect.
