I was in Israel soon after they opened the doors to Jordan and Petra.
I think Jordan was shocked at how many Israeli wanted to spend a couple days in Petra.
Shockingly expensive for border bribes and transportation but it was worth it.
It’s no secret that Israeli companies provide some of the security for UAE oil infrastructure. There’s even been military exercises where Israel and the Emirates both had contingents.
