“I live in one of the most conservative areas of New Jersey, and we now have a Democrat representing us in Congress for the first time in several generations.”
My district used to be solid R until the Rats started redrawing the election maps, now my congressional district map cuts in to Hackensack just enough to give the Rat candidate a 2-3 point win. I can remember 25 years ago when the state had solid R majorities, things sure have changed for the worst since then. But at least last night we made some progress in battleground districts.
Democrats will never turn America completely Blue. Well still live in places where we can preserve our values and live our lives.
The threat of political irrelevance has never overmuch bothered me.
1. One out of every seven workers in New Jersey is employed in the public sector.
2. 50% of all households in New Jersey have at least one person who is a government worker or a retired government worker.
