As a self-proclaimed adherent to Hanlons Razor, I once cynically viewed the frenzied focus on FBI actions during the 2016 Russian election-meddling investigation as partisan and overwrought. Hanlons Razor suggests that we never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity or incompetence. Having proudly served in the FBI for 25 years, I bristled at insulting accusations of an onerous deep state conspiracy. Some obvious mistakes made during the investigation of the Trump campaign were quite possibly the result of two ham-handedly overzealous FBI headquarters denizens, Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, clumsily seeking to impress each other with ever-increasing levels of loathing for then-candidate Donald Trump.

Heres me, acknowledging my mistake. I was dead wrong. It now seems there was a concerted effort, though isolated, within the upper-echelons of the FBI to influence the outcome of the Flynn investigation. By dirtying up Flynn, Comeys FBI headquarters team of callow sycophants shortcut the investigative process. Arm-twisting Flynn through the tweaked version of his interview afforded him criminal exposure. The cocksure Comey team felt supremely confident that would inspire him flipping and give them the desperately sought-after evidence of Trump-Russia collusion that the wholly unverified Steele dossier was never remotely capable of providing.

Never heard of Hanlons before. I knew about Oscrams Razor.
The people cant police the federal police state because it is effectively secret and unaccountable.

Bingo! Unfortunately the congress is corrupt and will never allow these agencies to be stripped of their power.
Trump seems oddly reluctant to fire people. Ironic since this is what he was largely known for.
The inspector general is soon set to release a report into FBI actions in the effort to surveil the Trump campaign.
This joke used to make its way around LE circles:
The FBI, ATF, and the Texas Rangers were having an argument over whom had the best police dog. They agreed to set up a test so they loaded some drugs into a house and each agency sent in its dog. The ATF dog went in first and found a few kilos of coke. Everyone said, nice but there is much more there. The Rangers sent in theirs. The dog found another 5 kilos of Coke, 10 lbs of meth, a ton of marijuana. Each agency said wow. Finally the FBI said watch our dog work. The dog took off, screwed the two other dogs and issued a press release about the total drugs found.
The DOJ and FBI have been corrupt for thirty years..
Read. Police State by Gerry Spence...
The justuce system in this country is corrupt because the 85% who are honest do not get rid of the 15% that are crooked..
That goes for judges ,cops and prosecturs
They have the dirt on everyone in congress and can get it on anyone who threatens them

A lot of the 85% chooses to look the other way for a variety of reasons. And the corruption goes on and on.
Unfortunately, the bigger government gets, the more “opportunities” for corruption and graf there are, and the payoffs become increasingly bigger. Meanwhile, the congress and the agency watchdogs (which are really guard dogs) are content to let the system roll on as long as it benefits them.
“When will we see the arrests of these lawbreakers? Are they above the law, as Hillary Clinton is?”
If it doesn’t happen on Trump’s watch it will be up to us.
Wow.
Just about everyone on this forum knows you should lawyer up before talking to the frigging FBI.
That is becoming increasingly clear. A very disturbing state of affairs which is transforming our country into a police state run by rogue operatives in our (once) trusted federal agencies.
This combined with the fundamental demographic, cultural and moral changes in our country in recent years does not make me sanguine about our future. We are a nation in decline.
When will we see the arrests of these lawbreakers? Are they above the law, as Hillary Clinton is? Until we see some justice being meted out by those investigating the investigators, we have no confidence in our justice system for those in government.

Hell, we still haven’t seen a single page of the FISA docs that were supposed to have been declassified and released a long time ago.
The Deep State is still in control of them.
Based on all the crap that’s come out re FBI malfeasance, I and most of my friends will never, ever be willing to talk to anyone from a law enforcement agency about anything.
Good job, commey.
“This guy is the real deal.”
Agree. It just amazes me how a man of his stature can be treated like a common criminal. Just another day at the office for the Rats.
I was referring to Gagliano. But agree with you about Flynn. He was out there giving FBI an office tour. No idea what they were up to.
James Forrestal, “Consistency never has been a mark of stupidity. If the diplomats who have mishandled our relations with Russia were merely stupid, they would occasionally make a mistake in our favor.”
He's just coming to this conclusion? Is he myopic, naive or just stupid? And to think the FBI is infested with these kind of agents.
Yes.
But the people must not help any of these agencies.
1. Don’t call them up directly and give them any info on other citizens. If info needs to be conveyed, I would recommend it be given via truly anonymous source.
2. Never talk to them if they ask you for info.
3. Jury nullification.
Edited in the lie, and covered up who made the edit. And still maintain that the edited in lie was only a grammatical change. The coverup continues!
Arrest them now!
It should be illegal to even talk to the bastards!
