Sen. Rand Paul claimed the name of the Ukraine whisteblower is known but said the media is refusing to publish it.
"President Trump has great courage," the Kentucky Republican said at a Monday campaign rally for the president. "He faces down the fake media every day. But Congress needs to step up and have equal courage to defend the president."
"We also now know the name of the whistleblower," Paul continued. "The whistleblower needs to come before Congress as a material witness because he worked with Joe Biden at the same time Hunter Biden was getting money from corrupt oligarchs. I say tonight to the media, 'Do your job and print his name!' And I say this to my fellow colleagues in Congress, to every Republican in Washington, 'Step up and subpoena Hunter Biden and subpoena the whistleblower!'"

That damned Rand Paul meddling in stuff again... :)
Do we know who it is?
I’ve been out for awhile!
And it's not just about jobs and economic opportunity. It's about freedom, exercise of "Creator-endowed rights and liberties," and opportunity for each citizen, not just self-appointed elitists who fancy themselves as entitled to make decisions for all.
See this web site, at which Richard Frothingham's outstanding 1872 "History of the Rise of the Republic of the United States" may be read on line.
This 600+-page history traces the ideas which gave birth to the American founding. Throughout, Richard Frothingham, the historian, develops the idea that it is "the Christian idea of man" which allowed the philosophy underlying the Declaration of Independence and Constitution to become a reality--an idea which recognizes the individual and the Source of his/her "Creator"-endowed life, liberty and law.
Is there any wonder that the enemies of freedom, the so-called "progressives," do not promote such authentic histories of America? Their philosophy puts something called "the state," or "global interests" as being superior to individuals and requires a political elitist group to decide what role individuals are to play.
In other words, they must turn the Founders' ideas upside-down in order to achieve a common mediocrity for individuals and power for themselves.
Thomas Jefferson wrote to Roger Weightman on June 24, 1826:
" I should, indeed, with peculiar delight, have met and exchanged there congratulations personally with the small band, the remnant of that host of worthies, who joined with us on that day, in the bold and doubtful election we were to make for our country, between submission or the sword; and to have enjoyed with them the consolatory fact, that our fellow citizens, after half a century of experience and prosperity, continue to approve the choice we made. may it be to the world, what I believe it will be, (to some parts sooner, to others later, but finally to all,) the Signal of arousing men to burst the chains, under which monkish ignorance and superstition had persuaded them to bind themselves, and to assume the blessings & security of self-government. That form which we have substituted, restores the free right to the unbounded exercise of reason and freedom of opinion. all eyes are opened, or opening, to the rights of man. the general spread of the light of science has already laid open to every view. the palpable truth, that the mass of mankind has not been born with saddles on their backs, nor a favored few booted and spurred, ready to ride them legitimately, by the grace of god. these are grounds of hope for others. for ourselves, let the annual return of this day forever refresh our recollections of these rights, and an undiminished devotion to them."
I sense a growing alliance between Rand and the Trumps.
What is stopping Rand Paul from saying the name out loud?
Probably he is coordinating tactics with Trump.
“But Congress needs to step up and have equal courage to defend the president.”

The GOP has no courage. And never will.
I was just going to post to yours also. Yes, something is going on. But... Rand has always just been pretty good about supporting right, or not supporting wrong without bias all along. It makes some folks mad, but in the end they agree that it was the right stance at the time. The hatred for his antiwar isolationism was a big one, as it was for his Dad but now look, 95% now agree. What is happening to Trump is indeed wrong and in the Paul tradition, he is standing up for what is right and needs to be done for this Republic.

The government can’t release he name, but the media is allowed to. Fox News refuses to say his name, waiting for permission from the Washington Post and NY Times.
Trumps biggest problem is the GOP....
But in this case there waiting for the democrats to fail they have nothing yet...
They need to have hearing in the senate...
Actually no one cares except Wahington and NY and LA
People have there lives to live
the palpable truth, that the mass of mankind has not been born with saddles on their backs, nor a favored few booted and spurred, ready to ride themYet so many of our fellow Americans are working feverishly to help those booted and spurred tyrants into the saddle.
I would expect Rand to take this position no matter what but I was thinking of Don Jr.’s tweet promoting Rand.
If Don Jr. runs in 2024 I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Rand was his running mate.
He knows who it is. Why doesn’t he leak it? No one else has ever been prosecuted for a leak.
They are both too young. lol
You only have to be 35.
Welcome the the MSM mushroom farm!
lol, I know I was joking, Since most of our candidates have been almost too old, I’m sure someone will claim these two are too young.
