Nationals’ Kurt Suzuki, Ryan Zimmerman Show Support For Trump During White House Visit

The World Series champion Washington Nationals visited the White House Monday, and two players in particular showed their support for President Trump.

Catcher Kurt Suzuki sported a MAGA hat while addressing the crowd. Trump had just propped him up for his solo home run in Game two, the first home run ever hit by a Hawaiian-born player in World Series history, to which Suzuki responded, “I love you all.”

First baseman Ryan Zimmerman, the first player ever drafted by the Nationals after the franchise relocated from Montreal, called the visit “stuff you dream about.”

“To see all the fans show up, the parade, looking at the crowd here, we couldn’t have done it without you,” he told the crowd before explicitly thanking POTUS. “I would like to thank you for keeping everyone safe in our country and for continuing to make America the greatest country to live in in the world.”

I’m assuming none of them have libtard SJW extremist wives & in-laws, as did the pitcher who refused PDJT’s hospitality.

Strasburg was there.

Here are the no-shows: Anthony Rendon, Javy Guerra, Joe Ross, Wander Suero, Wilmer Difo, Michael A. Taylor, Victor Robles, Raudy Read, Tres Barrera, and Roenis Elías.

They are not Rhodes Scholars. Play the game and respect the country. Enjoy the White House and get on with the bidness. Never knock a persons spouse, truck, dog, religion, or politics. Unless they get in your face, then the brakes are off. IMO

In olden days, the mere HONOR of being invited to the White House for congratulatory recognition would have been more than enough

...no matter who was President

"Never knock a persons spouse..."

Hey, the pitcher himself is the one who brought up his wife & his in-laws, not me ---

"Doolittle also told the newspaper that his wife has two mothers involved in the LGBTQ community, and he didn’t “want to turn my back on them. ...... I have a brother-in-law ..." [repeats the tired old lie that Trump mocked a handicapped person's mannerisms]

Good to see some players woke to America’s communist threat.

I’m talking common courtesy, like yes ma’am etc. I also should have worded my post, “If the athletes have no testicles to play men’s sports” My wife has a say but I do what I want. Her the same way. My in-laws are not in my picture. If he lets his wife call the shots he’s dumber (it would be harder) than he looks.

>>>Good on the guys who showed up though, That takes courage<<<

What has America become when a comment like this actually makes sense to the people here who read it?

I could not stand Clinton or Obama, but my fellow Countrymen Elected both of them POTUS (TWICE). Since I respect the Office of the Presidency I would be honored to be invited to the White House, even with either of them residing there.

Some may disagree, but I wouldn’t need to fear retribution for doing so. Conservatives still practice Civility, a rare thing in today’s Political and Social Climate.

It wouldn’t be brave though. I wouldn’t have to fear public ridicule, career ending revenge and violence from people who disagreed with my choice to meet the POTUS, whoever that person might be.

Always loved Zimmerman, class act.

No mistake the Eaton and Kendrick of the “drivin’ the bus home” dance were there — they’re car guys, which by my book defines them as great Americans.

I enjoyed the mocking Joe Biden style hug.
Very funny! Looked on purpose to me.

I sort of agree with you... However, if invited to stay overnight, I'd draw the line at sharing a bed with either hitlary or mooochie... Just saying...

Well you probably wouldn’t be invited to a sleep over, after all cankles and mooch have great taste. Kinda leaves out he who ain’t Bill or Barry. Then on the other hand you have a little discernment too. Heeheeheee.
