It takes only ten to one odds to assure victory, given equal armament. These households can be met with overwhelming odds and armament. Conservatives need to take to the streets in active demonstration right now, or lose the Republic.
And after they do the first two neighborhoods the next ones will be waiting.
This is a BIG country. A swoop and confiscate is impossible with the number of people that they have. If they borrow China's army it might be possible. Of course then they would have another problem.
How many neighborhoods could they sweep concurrently with all National Guard units performing this function?

You see, conservatives are not very likely to band together for anything, so it is unlikely there would ever be an organized resistance. Conservatives all want to be in charge, it is "my way or the highway". How long did the Tea Party last once the media bad-mouthed it? Tea Party management couldn't get along with each other either.
If conservatives were going to do anything, they would have done so long before we reached this point.
National Guard can only work in their own state. And maybe three, five at maximum.

You don't need organized resistance. You need very small groups acting on their own.
If conservatives were going to do anything, they would have done so long before we reached this point.
What point? The point where we have 40 state which are shall issue and only one that is does not allow? Do you have any idea how that number has changed in the past few decades? In 2002 there were seven states that were "No issue" and only one that was "no permit required. Today there are ten states that are "no permit required and nineteen more are considering making the move as they are shall issue anyway.
Despite what the gun grabbers would have you believe the momentum is against them.
