I've been telling people for many years, for the most part it's not liberals leaving the leftist cesspool of California, it's patriotic conservatives. We personally know of about a dozen people who've bailed out of CA in the past 2 decades and every single one of them were conservative patriots.
Those people thinking it's Californians who've been turning their states blue should be looking inwards at their own school systems who no doubt are churning out a conga-line of brainwashed young leftist every year.

California is now a Mexican colony.
US citizens should get out while they can.
It may be soon be impossible to leave and take your money with you.

I couldn't return to CA with the political climate as it is. The one party government is utterly dysfunctional and the voters won't make a change because they've convinced themselves the problems in CA are because the nation isn't following their lead as badly run as they are.

I suspect that a California conservative is a left of center person anywhere else.

If they don’t change their political notions, stay out of Texas. I am barely civil to any newcomers I meet from a blue state and most of my fellow native Texans feel the same way.

It may be soon be impossible to leave and take your money with you. While I really didn't want to leave the state, selling the house last October while the value was high definitely felt great (other than the CA tax bill for capital gains). The house may continue to rise in value, but I wouldn't bet on it.

People who get caught trying to escape Cuba are shot, imprisoned, and tortured because they make the Cuban government look bad. Gavin Newsom might have to consider taking similar measures. Maybe Newsom and the Democrats will institute a wealth confiscation tax instead of bullets.

What many Californians do is they leave the state complaining about how liberalism is destroying the state, they move to Texas, and vote Democrat anyway

Every state I have lived in if you have lived in the house 2 years or longer and then sell and if you make a huge profit there is no tax to be paid.
We sold a house 3 years ago and made over 150k and did not have to pay any taxes on it.

suspect that a California conservative is a left of center person anywhere else. Living in an Arizona border town adjacent to Calif ... I have opportunity to speak with quite a few Californians. Many of these Californians claim that they are conservative. However after talking with them for a bit it becomes very clear that measured on the Arizona scale they are actually screaming liberals. I don't really think that most Californians know what it is to be a conservative .

What many Californians do is they leave the state complaining about how liberalism is destroying the state, they move to Texas, and vote Democrat anyway Funny, because there was a report from earlier this year that a larger percentage of native Taxans voted for Beto than did transplants to the state.
I get the dislike of Californians in Texas. Complain to Texas state government agencies to stop trying to motivate out-of-state businesses from moving to Texas. Sadly, they bring many liberal tech personnel with them, including those from India (overwhelmingly male who vote DEM).

Like JimRob? No. I know two people living in CA right now, one moved there after moving left (OK). The other is a relative who is as culturally conservative as any freeper, but has a job that makes moving difficult. For the sake of his children, who are only now approaching school age and will be home schooled, he and his wife are still looking at moving (possibly Oklahoma).
