If they don’t change their political notions, stay out of Texas. I am barely civil to any newcomers I meet from a blue state and most of my fellow native Texans feel the same way.

I’ll second that. I had an Uber driver tell me that he couldn’t get his family to Texas fast enough, but said he had to vote his conscience.
