The real question is... what’s going to be done about it.
This is like open sedition and can’t be ignored.
I think this is the crux of their dilemma.
They never expected (but should have) that someone who grew up in one of the most regulated industries (skyscraper construction in Manhattan, and real estate in general in New York City), would actually be an honest player who knew to follow the letter of the law to be one step ahead of corrupt government inspectors.
Because of that environment, he became a back-room donor to influential politicians, because they knew his money was clean, and they knew he could benefit from having them as friends and not enemies.
He knew that his taxes would be audited, that his business transactions would be reviewed, that his hiring would be scrutinized. That he made it this far is a testament to his clean record, despite business failures and successes.
So, when the Deep State planted spies in his campaign, in his transition team, in his administration, they expected to find something, anything. That they haven't, that they have to make it up to justify their efforts, is proof that Donald Trump is the real deal, who follows the law, and who keeps his promises.
He wouldn't have made it this far in business, and in life, by being anything else.
