Total political war has been joined. On the floor of the United Sates House of Representatives on Thursday, the battle lines were drawn — and they could not be more clear or decisive. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said: “Every member should support allowing the American people to hear the facts for themselves. That is really what this vote is about. It is about the truth, and what is at stake in all of this is nothing less than our democracy.”
Stirring stuff, but not to be outdone, Republican Rep. Jim Jordan fired back, calling into question the origins of the Ukraine investigation that began with a whistleblower’s meeting with Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff’s staff.
Chiding the chairman, Jordan said, “One member of this body knows who this person is who started this whole darn, crazy process: Chairman Schiff. And what’s this resolution do? Gives him even more power to run this secret proceeding in a bunker in the basement of the Capitol.”

This is a war that the antagonists, the Democrats, are not equipped to win. They do not have Justice on their side. They are controlled by a policy of government by law, not government of law.
Democrats are, in their minds, law givers, not law abiders. They have usurped and abrogated the authority of God and the Constitution to themselves. They are not committed to justice. Rather, they insist they are justice. Their hubris will be their undoing, sooner, rather than later.

Nancy wants a bipartisan push for impeachment....and she delivered. The voting in opposition of impeachment was bipartisan....2 Democrats joined Republicans NOT to impeach.
I really believe that the most that we can expect is Adam Schiff’s political head on a platter. Nancy is playing a double-game. She may hope for impeachment to succeed in the removal of the president, but he has to have cover for her own future as House Speaker. So if this thing blows up, Schiff is being setup to take the fall. That’s partly why this is being run out of the intelligence committee and not the judiciary where the veteran Jerry Nadler presides. Nancy has to protect the more senior Nadler.

Judges put on indefinite hold. Why all the nominees for blue state district judges. No package happening now. Then start pushing through ckt judges and let chuck and Nancy choke on it.
