A forensic pathologist hired by the family of the late financier Jeffrey Epstein says the autopsy points to homicide rather than suicide.
Dr. Michael Baden told Fox & Friends" on Wednesday morning that the evidence suggests that Epstein, a convicted sex offender who was facing new sex trafficking charges for allegedly abusing dozens of minor girls, was strangled to death. Baden, 85, observed the autopsy.
The official cause of death was suicide.
Epstein, 66, was found in his jail cell early on Aug. 10 at the Metropolitan Correction Center in Manhattan. An unnamed official told The Washington Post that he hanged himself with a bed sheet attached to the top of a bunk bed.
Baden cited the specific fractures on Epsteins neck, saying they are unusual in hangings by suicide and more common in death by strangulation. He also said there were hemorrhages in Epsteins eyes that were common in homicidal strangulation and uncommon, though not unheard of, in suicidal hangings.
His death spawned online conspiracy theories, including that Epstein was killed to keep him from incriminating others.
Two weeks before his death, Epstein was found unconscious in his cell with bruises to his neck and was placed on suicide watch.
Baden told Fox that his independent investigation was not complete.

It’s all a coincidence man, a coincidence!!!! /s
#19: that is funny.
Ya think?
Of course he was murdered. He had too much dirt on members of “The Club.”
I have read baden’s book. good read, very informative. I hope he is careful -he is pissing off some really powerful and
evil people.
Duh, where’s Capt Obvious.
The real outrageous thing is the deep state gets away with it so easily. That should scare the hell out of everybody.
Now, whether he was allowed to commit suicide is a different matter.
You’re making too much sense.
That won’t be welcome here.
What??? Shock!!!
Maybe this should be rephrased as:
"Who has most to hide?"
Let's consider:
1) Bill Clinton
2) Hillary Clinton
3) Prince Andrew
4) And a host of others
on the Lolita Express passenger manifests.
NO surprise here.
Bill and Hillary Clinton were very proper and sent their condolences to the family the day before Epstein died.

Now just a cotton pickin’ minit here. Let’s be fair. Hillary’s experienced, and she’d know to strangle from behind, so as to avoid leaving an impression on the dying man’s retina. Besides, she’s getting on in years, and might no longer have the necessary strength and speed. Probably sent Val Jar to do the deed, or maybe Sid Blumenthal or David Brock.
How wonderful that the cameras failed and the guards were asleep.
No offense. Just saying.
Wonder if the “alleged” attempt at suicide wasn’t fake to “prep” everyone for the real thing? Less suspicion surrounds a suicide if it’s already been attempted before....
Sure... as in "they aren't leaving any sheets around that I can use to hang myself... can you just let someone into my cell to Arkancide me?"
People keep bringing up Occam's Razor but it's Hanlon's Razor that seems to fit the facts: Never attribute to malice what can be explained by stupidity.
Right. And in his court appearances and talks with his lawyer after the attempt, he never said anything.
Either murdered or it’s a fake death, and he is living in luxury in the same location as Ken Lay, the Enron creep who supposedly died before being brought to justice.
