Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., said Republicans will call Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., who’s heading up the Democratic Party’s “sham” impeachment inquiry as chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, as a fact witness.
In an appearance on Fox Business Network’s “Lou Dobbs Tonight,” Gaetz continued his efforts to push back on the opposition party’s secret impeachment proceedings taking place in the basement of the U.S. Capitol, slamming the process as “totally antithetical to our constitutional principles.”
“The one mistake they’ve made — and I don’t know if they know this yet — Adam Schiff has now made himself a fact witness and we intend to call him [as a witness] in the Judiciary Committee,” the lawmaker said.

He’s not just a witness; he’s a conspirator in making up half the lies in this latest witch hunt.
Someone on Fox News said today that the House has to approve any witnesses the Republicans want to call. If thats’s true, Schiff will never be a witness.
The senate could demand him as a witness if they impeach.
Hope this happens. Have little faith in Republicans doing anything.

Every attorney knows that you CANNOT ethically (or legally) be BOTH the investigator and a fact witness. Ethically speaking, he MUST recuse himself. That he has not means that he is acting in a highly unethical manner.
Gaetz needs to bring an ethics complaint against Schiff in every single jurisdiction in which Schiff is licensed to practice law. If you’re going to take off the gloves, REALLY take them off.
Make Schiff’s life miserable, just as he’s done to many other people. The Dems wanted to use the Kavanaugh hearings to warn other conservatives not to accept nominations? OK, fine, two can play at that game: the Trump “impeachment” should similarly serve as a warning to other Dems not to “pull a Schiff,” on pain of having THEIR lives made miserable. But to be credible, Schiff has to be attacked from every single angle, unrelentingly.
Fine. Then what is he afraid of? He can always go and just take the Fifth.
