Twitter is banning all political ads globally, starting November 22nd, according to tweets by the company’s CEO Jack Dorsey on Wednesday.
The changes will affect both candidate ads and issue ads, although ads encouraging voter registration will still be allowed, along with other exceptions. Dorsey said a full policy will be made available to the public on November 15th.
“Some might argue our actions today could favor incumbents,” Dorsey said. “But we have witnessed many social movements reach massive scale without any political advertising.”

There should be a class-action shareholder lawsuit because of this. One would have to be a fool to own their stock if they reject that kind of Revenue.

What is a political as anyways? Is an ad about climate change a political ad? I bet they’ll say it’s not but it is obviously is. If someone says something about Trump is that political?

Given that Trump has far more money to spend than all the Democrats this is an anti Trump declaration. I expect almost all communication to or by identified Republicans, Christians and conservatives will be banned from the social platforms by 6 months prior to the election. FB and google will ban all Republican campaign advertising and will promote Democrat ads.
They’re doing this to hurt Trump.

Makes perfect sense for totalitarian authoritarian entities to silence everyone, in an instance like this.

I walked away from most “social” media. It was so stressful and a total cesspool.
Anything to lower Trump’s high chance of winning. This wouldn’t be happening if the Dems had it in the bag like they supposedly had it in 2016.
