On Wednesday, both NBCs 3rd Hour Today show and CBS This Morning engaged in climate change hysteria as they touted dire predictions that huge portions of land around the world would be underwater by 2050 and displace hundreds of millions of people. The network hosts all blindly accepted the warnings as true without pointing out that such wild claims have been made for decades without coming to fruition.
And speaking of climate change, on the flip side of that, too much water actually becoming an issue....rising seas could affect way more people than they previously thought....this is an estimate for 2050, which is only 30 years from now, co-host Dylan Dreyer proclaimed early in the 9:00 a.m. ET hour for NBCs Today. It shows that 150 million people are now living on land that will be below high tide by 2050, she hyped.
Worried co-host Sheinelle Jones gasped: Really? Dreyer continued:
...they say southern Vietnam could be totally underwater. Its mostly the research that they did, it doesnt include the United States, but we can assume some of this information for the United States as well. I mean, think about Miami, think about New Orleans, think about areas that are right on the coast. And people love to live by water.
Weatherman and co-host Al Roker chimed in: Well, 60% of our population in this country live along the coast....But look at Vietnam, thats 20 million people who could theoretically be displaced.
Moments later, Roker increased the fearmongering: In fact, just last year, the Department of Defense said that climate change is probably the number one threat to homeland security because so many of our defenses and defense facilities are along coasts.

I live in Northern Nevada so all I have to do is wait. Thanks Greta.
A hoax to tax the people and to gain power over you and me.
Here is something to think about, the (Earth's sustainability)...truly a really, really, really grey area.
Me too. About 8 miles from Border town on 395.
Hey! I saw a movie years ago of how things will be: “Waterworld”. The next generation better learn to swim.
Sounds Malthusian. Or cbs-ish or nbc-ish.
A bit south of you in the Carson Valley. I suspect the waves will reach here.
My only explanation is Gaia loves the intentions deep in the souls of the private jet owning Malibu libs???
If it was even remotely true, housing prices would be halved by now in anticipation.
My first thought here goes like this ... If this ‘flooding scenario’ is valid, then the ocean surface area expands enormously, plus we have added global warming. Doesn’t that mean a corresponding great increase in the evaporation rate? More clouds would be probable from the evaporation. Increased precipitation is logical from that and with wind patterns more areas get some of these increases.
What I just briefly described is a potential data model but making such models work involves such massive computation that every effort tries to expand a small computation into a global one. Then the fact that such linear expansions are known fallacious due to secondary, tertiary and so on effects that can’t be properly modeled in the first place.
So the fact appears that while there is some apparent warming, sea levels do not seem to rise in step. Glaciers are reducing but they also have been doing that for the past multi-thousand years. Are the suggested ‘solutions’ doing anything more than increasing regulations and decreasing individual freedoms?
NBC and CBS should be designated as comicbooks.
Hey this is a great business opportunity for me as a former Red Cross Swimming instructor (don’t ask what century that was) because all these people underwater would need to know how to swim to higher ground.
My business name would be ‘Waterworld II’ (You can swim or you can sink. We can help prevent the latter. Call us at 1-800-Climate Change Suckers.
#1. If the waters do rise and overflow the coasts, at least we will be rid of the Obamas and their rich, white, elite friends.
Everybody do “THE WAVE”!
#73. I tried to hold Nuzzlin’ Joe’s head under water as an example of how much brain damage can occur if you don’t get to the victim in time, and it worked.
“Why is the news media allowed to broadcast lies?”
Dang good question!
They operate by FCC license under which it’s my understanding stipulates they must act and or operate in the public interest for the public good.
Seems like a pretty good case could be built against CNN on the factual basis using the audio tapes that recently came out plus the 90 plus percent of their airtime is negative towards the president and much of that is deliberately false.
At a minimum CNN should be pulled off the airport TV monitors.
JMHO
Im 2000 feet up and 100 miles from the sea.
Dont care.
:D
What a load of BS. Why did Hussein and Moochelle Obama just spend 15+ million on a waterfront mansion on Martha’s Vineyard then??
