WASHINGTON (AP) — Defying White House orders, an Army officer serving with President Donald Trump’s National Security Council testified to impeachment investigators Tuesday that he twice raised concerns over the administration’s push to have Ukraine investigate Democrats and Joe Biden.
Alexander Vindman, a lieutenant colonel who served in Iraq and later as a diplomat, is the first official to testify who actually heard Trump’s July 25 call with new Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy. He reported his concerns to the NSC’s lead counsel, he said in his prepared remarks.
His arrival in military blue, with medals , created a striking image at the Capitol as the impeachment inquiry reached deeper into the White House.
“I was concerned by the call,” Vindman said, according to his testimony obtained by The Associated Press. “I did not think it was proper to demand that a foreign government investigate a U.S. citizen, and I was worried about the implications for the U.S. government’s support of Ukraine.”
Vindman, a 20-year military officer, added to the mounting evidence from other witnesses -- diplomats, defense and former administration officials -- who are corroborating the initial whistleblower’s complaint against Trump and providing new details ahead of a House vote in the impeachment inquiry.

Anybody wanna bet that because the media sees his testimony as damaging to the president, that ShifftyEyes leaked it to the AP himself?
This is exactly why they are running this thing in the darkness and not the daylight. They are either coaching witnesses and/or cherry-picking their testimony to make it look like the president is guilty of something.
The president needs to have his military commanders court martial this guy as soon as possible for sabotaging and betraying his commander-in-chief.
There is no way what this light colonel just did does not violate the military code of justice. He should be summarily kicked of of he Army and have his pension taken away from him. There are consequences for this type of action.

I am suspecting set up, and it didn’t go the way the Democrats planned it.
Now, they are pulling out the last of their stops. I doubt they planned to burn this mole, but didn’t have much of a choice. Heck, he might have been caught up in a canary trap type operation to find the leakers and was burned, anyway.

As former Army officer, it seems form what we are told so far, this LTC violated his orders to not testify, given by his superior order. Courts Martial offense. But even kicked out of the Army, he can most likely count on a high paying job after that at CNN (Communist News Network).
For what its worth, in my years in the Army, I only got to know one Army LTC. And he was a snake. Smiling face who stabbed in the back. In the Army, basically the last real command job is Company Commander, after that one becomes more and more of a politician.
Hey, I know a guy, who knows a guy, who knows a guy, who knows a guy who said Trump did something wrong.

The POTUS is so far above the Col. pay grade the Col. would not have a clue about what all is going on and why....
President Trump is following Article 2 section 3, clause 5 of the Constitution:
“he shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed,”
Vindman does not know the Constitution and thinks his president’s efforts are not within the scope of the presidency. Without that common understanding, Vindman would be backing his president who seeks to bring those engaged in illegal actions (the Biden Ukraine quid pro quo and the coup attempts against him) to justice—not impeachment! Being a private citizen or a presidential candidate does not give one protection from scrutiny.
Vindman has sold out his president and who paid for this is up to anyone’s guess.
This would be the "initial whistle blower" whose testimony was totally contradicted by the transcript? How is this "corroborated?"

And did this self-important Lt.Col ---whose opinion is apparently so superior to everyone else--forget, ignore, or was ignorant of our international agreements to assist other countries investigating crime, corruption, and the sort ?
