Formalizing a sham dog and pony show. Formal, informal, it is still not an impeachment inquiry. It is Pelosi’s sideshow to placate her communist base but save face for Rats running in pro-Trump districts.
This doesn’t end well for Bela Pelosi. It is going to blow up in her face. Which is nice.

I looked up the Al Green impeachment bill that was voted down by the House. The contrast is amazing. That bill said that crimes were committed and defined them and then called for impeachment.
What is being voted on on Thursday is a process that says keep doing essentially what they have been doing, which is a fishing expedition to look for evidence of possible crimes.
If there were crimes, identify them, vote for impeachment and then hand it over to the Senate and Supreme Court chief justice to conduct a trial so that “real evidence” can be presented under oath and cross examined.
This is a kangaroo court or Soviet style show trial.
