"The top Ukraine expert at the White House will tell impeachment investigators he twice reported concerns about President Trumps pressure tactics on Ukraine, acting out of a sense of duty.

No, he was raised in Brooklyn and grew up in the Russian neighborhood there.. called Little Odessa. His father emigrated Ukrainian in 1979.
But yeah, his birth date is 1975—— when they were in Ukraine... so.... yeah. He’s the son of a Ukrainian, whom we do not know if he’s naturalized. And the son was indeed born in Soviet times in the Ukraine— ie. the Soviet Ukraine.
So this is an Army enlistee— just like any other FOREIGN enlistee, who currently serve in the US ARMY. There is that proviso.
This would be powerful stuff WERE IT NOT FOR THE FACT THAT WE HAVE THE TRANSCRIPTS OF THE CALL.
How does what he heard differ from what we all read?? and why is his version different??
The harder they push the quid pro quo scenario, the worse it gets for Biden. Does it ever cross their minds that some people will connect the comparison and see the double standard being applied?
He has the right to be concerned.
He also has the right to run for public office where his concerns will count for something.
He’s not the decider, so they don’t.
if if if there was any pressure on Ukraine to investigate it was appropriate, and we have a treaty whereby they promise to investigate for USA (and vice-versa us for them)anyway....
this is a double-whopper without any beef in it
They made a point of the fact the guy decided to put on his Uniform when he Testified. He never wore it to work.
The "favor" was with regard to looking into broader CORRUPTION.
It’s all theater.
Good one! (I see what you did there!)
So what's all the cr** that Zelensky can't come unless he does "us" a favor.
In other words, he was a spy. Firing squad at sunrise.
“Army Officer Who Heard Trumps Ukraine Call”
Sure he did.
Same thing with ALL the witnesses so far....especially Taylor...who only became pert of the Trump administration on June 19 2019. I believe he’s a plant, too.
That persons who do not have the Constitutional authority or responsibility for policy “have concerns”, they can STFU, resign, or say “sir, yes sir” and follow orders.
I'm more concerned that he may know the coordinates of Site Y.
Seven Days in October?
BTW, a bit of Trivia. Rod Serling wrote the Movie.
One more crime and no punishment.
May infuriate some here, but they call the guy a hero. He was in a Humvee which got blown up by an IED. There was no act of implicit bravery, sacrificing himself at that moment for his fellow soldiers, no valor. He simply was in a truck which got blown up. My friend who broke his back in a similar incident in 2004, and does not consider himself a hero. Heroes are the first responders at 9-11, who gave their lives to save strangers. Heroes throw a wounded comrade over their back and run out of a firefight to save his buddy. We throw around that word too loosely and in this case to make his testimony un-impeachable. He was a brave wounded veteran not a hero, which Democrats hate.
I did not know that. It did have a bit of ‘Twilight Zone’ feeling to it now that you mention it.
