A day before President Trump addressed the annual gathering of the International Association of Chiefs of Police in Chicago, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) gave some rather shocking advice to a young black student at Benedict College in regards to how he should behave around a police officer if he's pulled over while driving.

"I would do my best to identify who that police officer is and ask him or her for their name," Sanders told the young man at the Second Step Presidential Justice Forum in Columbia, South Carolina. "I would respect what they are doing so that you don’t get shot in the back of the head. But I would also be very mindful of the fact that as a nation we have got to hold police officers accountable for the actions that they commit."

Law enforcement shooting you in the back of the head was a Soviet Communist thing. Something Bernie has had first-hand experience with.
I know it’s absolutely impossible, but wouldn’t it be great if Bernie got the dem nomination. It would be the easiest re-election in history.
Of course the verbiage might imply that if the black questioner treats the PoPo with disrespect, barnee could be the victim of some action.

This is so irresponsible of Bernie. Millions of impressionable young people and African Americans hear Twitter rumors or overhear someone talking at a coffee shop and take the gossip as gospel. Thus, they today believe hundreds of blacks are being killed every single day in Driving While Black atrocities.
True (I repeat true) news item said a young woman said she was hoping the Kavanaugh hearings would be over “before Trump used nuclear weapons to stop him from losing.”
This was because she heard the “nuclear option” for Senate voting rules might be invoked.
She represents young voters.We are in deep trouble.
Bernie never done or said a responsible thing in his life!

Because the disrespectful black student being shot in the back of the head by a cop would bring the total of disrespectful black students being shot in the back of the head by police up to, oh, ONE?
I am so glad the world in which I live bears no resemblance to the world people like Sanders imagine.
I guess Bernie never thought to answer the student’s question with “Show him your license”? That might be a crazy response, though....

Why is a COLLEGE STUDENT asking a stranger for advice on how to behave with a police officer? A Socialist stranger——
What were his PARENTS teaching him for over 18 years?????
Asking the officer for their name puts them on the defensive. It communicates a threat to either complain to their supervisor or hunt them down later. I would refer to them as officer and ask how I could help. If you receive a ticket you can use it to identify the officer.
Better to tell the kid to stay off drugs, not join gangs, get a job, study in school, not impregnate a baby momma, not wave a gun at a cop.
bernie, the aging a$$hole, would rather get political points by continuing the cops-kill-innocent-Blacks delusion.
