A US Army Officer Reported Concerns Over the White House and Ukraine (Janitor Next Witness)

A U.S. Army officer serving at the National Security Council twice raised concerns over the Trump administration's push to have Ukraine investigate Democrats and Joe Biden, according to testimony the official is prepared to deliver Tuesday in the House impeachment inquiry.

Army Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, who served in Iraq and, later, as a diplomat, is prepared to tell House investigators that he listened to President Donald Trump's July 25 call with new Ukraine President Volodymr Zelenskiy and reported his concerns to the NSC's lead counsel.

"I was concerned by the call," Vindman will say, according to prepared testimony obtained Monday night by The Associated Press. "I did not think it was proper to demand that a foreign government investigate a U.S. citizen, and I was worried about the implications for the U.S. government's support of Ukraine."

Vindman will be the first current White House official set to appear as the impeachment inquiry reaches deeper into the Trump administration and Democrats prepare for the next, public phase of the probe.

The 20-year military officer will testify that he first reported his concerns after an earlier meeting July 10 in which U.S. Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland stressed the importance of having Ukraine investigate the 2016 election as well as Burisma, a company linked to the family of 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.

So absurd. Every “concern” that I have heard in this case are opinions and policy choices of UNELECTED bureaucrats that differ from the duly elected President.

Who cares about the concerns.

Here are the questions of relevance:

Did you hear the President demand an investigation of Biden in exchange for aid to Ukraine?

Was the phone call your only basis of “concern?”

If so, why do we need your opinion about the call we have all seen the transcript to?

If I were AG Bill Barr

Let's hope he is doing the right thing by all measures.

I for one would be disappointed if the Ukrainian investigation on corruption was impeded in any way just because the long line of Politicians feeding at trough contained an American citizen.

It is kinda the point with so many Politicians children getting 7 figure salaries on their Industrial payroll.

Only America has unwritten rules that Democrats are immune to criminal charges. I would be extra glad to uncover a Republican on the take; we have to purge RINOs anyway we can.

He was born in Ukraine. He and his twin brother have offices across the hall from each other in the White House. Isn’t that adorable? And he was recruited by Fiona Hill another White House official born in the UK. How many damn foreign-born people are swarming the White House. And you want me to give up my AR-15? Gfy

He was born in Ukraine, eh? I guess it makes slightly more sense that Ukrainians would offer him the job of Defense Minister then. Still weird but not as weird.

If he’s a Ukrainian spy it would be quite a reward.
