Wildfires are continuing to ravage California as they force 200,000 people to flee their homes and threaten celebrity mansions and LA's Getty Center which houses historic artwork.
Northern California, which has been hit hard by the Kincade Fire, also reported a minor 3.3 magnitude earthquake on Monday just after 1am local time not far from the wildfire that has forced 80,000 residents in that area out of their homes. There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage from the quake.
The state has been plagued by at least nine wildfires since last week with the latest blaze to break out on Sunday near the Getty Center. Flames were seen raging along 405 Freeway near the museum which displays pre-20th century works of art by artists including Rembrandt and Van Gogh.
Celebrities have been fleeing their homes and dramatic footage showed flames rapidly spreading towards the eight-bedroom Brentwood mansion of actor Josh Duhamel Monday. He bought the 8,232 sq ft sprawling property with then-wife Fergie for $5.2million in 2007.

God is finally fed up with California.
State of Emergency.
Military government.
Democratic Party and associated organizations banned for the duration, leaders in front of Military Tribunals.
I didn’t want to move from California a year ago, but there are a lot of reasons why it wasn’t the worse decision my wife and I made. Then again, if our only kid hadn’t moved to Texas 3 years ago and urged us to follow, I’m not sure what we would have done instead.
How can the brush choked CA woods be burning, it’s illegal to burn wood in CA?
Welcome to your new home, Prince Harry and family.
Here is a map from California showing over 1 million without power.

Get out while you can before they make it illegal to leave.
What compassion.
Well...don’t clear brush or thin deadwood in the forests...power outages so large pumps don’t run! See tagline!
The displays are likely copies.
Just let your imagination go if terrorists decided to set multiple fires.
Power-up those electric cars...oh, wait....
Meh.
Maybe they can just call the fire racist online and then cancel it.
Cali (we don't need no stinking greenbelts) fornia, where the concept of responsibility brings out wiling and gnashing of teeth.
Did you know that telling people that they need to maintain agricultural belts so that they can stop fires from spreading in high winds means that you are calling them morons. There are people on this forum who say just that.
They assure me that it's not okay to insist that they need to have belts of agricultural land which can be plowed to make a wide fire break when needed because...well evidently many of them are Republicans or conservatives and evidently their political persuasion means that Agricultural belts for firebreak purposes somehow aren't needed.
I am glad I moved far away.
