I am not trying to downplay the fact that the President is facing opposition by both parties which are unparalleled in history, even from his own staff. He never the less has accomplished much more than most hoped but the fact remains that unless the immigration problem is fixed, we just become another failed idea because we didn't defend it as if our very lives depend on it.
