Freshman Rep. Katie Hill is resigning from Congress after facing allegations of inappropriate sexual relationships with staffers in her office and on her congressional campaign, according to two Democratic sources.
She’s set to resign by the end of the week.
Hill was under investigation by the House Ethics Committee for allegations of an improper sexual relationship with a male congressional staffer, a claim she denied. Hill admitted to and apologized for an “inappropriate” relationship with a female campaign staffer earlier this week.

If it wasn’t for #metoo movement, I doubt that she would had resigned.

I saw her resignation letter. Of course it blamed everyone else for her situation(being exposed). No real remorse. She is threatening everyone who shared the pictures. Of course without the pictures then her wrong doing would never have been exposed in a way that could not be covered up.
I bet the Dems didn’t force her to resign, she is only in keeping with their concept of (im)morality. I figure the Dems would give her a key leadership roll for her actions.
Actually, this isn’t a good development. Now California can simply appoint an outright communist in her place, and will have built up enough time in office to achieve the advantage of incumbency. Ironically, had Katie Hill not had any problems, her actual performance was under par, and would have been ripe for an R pickup. Now, virtually impossible, especially with the Deep State ties in northern LA County.
It was more to do with the Nazi Tats.
Or, was cummings departure entirely natural or assisted due to other threatened imminent releases due to his “lifestyle”?

It will be a test to see if the GOP can recover this historically Republican seat in a special election, stolen last year by unethical and fraudulent “ballot harvesting” deemed legal by the corrupt hyper-Communist Soviet state Duma. As I’ve pointed out, no Republican has unseated a Dem incumbent for a CA Congressional district since 1994, but since this seat will have no incumbent, that will not effect that unbroken record of fraud. I still believe the Dems will go all out to assure this seat remains under their control, as voter integrity is non-existent in California.
