On Fox News Sunday, Chris Wallace spoke with Vice President Mike Pence and said the successful operation is a victory for America.
He also questioned the VP on Trump saying he didn’t inform Pelosi in advance, with “the implication seeming to be that Pelosi or members of Congress would leak this.”
“Does the President not trust the Speaker of the House with sensitive national security information?” Wallace asked.
Pence disputed that was the implication, saying Trump’s “total focus was on a successful mission” and on the safety of the troops.

Why would President Trump spill the beans to the same people who HATE HIS GUTS and want him gone..why would he trust people who would leak the info within FIVE SECONDS of hearing it, destroying the mission and putting US troops at risk..which is what the left wanted..they are NOT upset that Baghdadi is dead, they are upset that the mission ended SUCCESSFULLY, that no troops were killed..that they have NOTHING they can blame Trump for

The US forces Somalia beach landing, with CNN,etc and their bright lights greeting them, was in Dec 1992, still during the Bush 1 Administration. What a fiasco.
If I remember correctly, someone in the United Nations Command in Somalia informed the press about the landing of the Marines. You may not like GHW Bush, but you can’t blame him for “blabbing.” I was serving in Army intel in DC at the time, and a few years later talked with one of my fellow Army historians who was in Somalia, as a reserve officer, when it happened.
Pence is such a spineless empty suit. He should have said, “You’re damn right we do not trust Speaker Pelosi. She is a sneak and a liar.”
