The Federal Government hasn't worried about the people taking back their government by any means necessary at least since the Great Depression. Even during the race riots of the sixties the government wasn't worried about the majority of the citizenry disapproving of Federal actions enough to rise up and do something about it other than bitching.

I think Mitt knows this. The problem is there is a part of Mitt that is still a never Trumper and he knows if this resolution gets 51 votes the Rats impeachment move is dead. Any of these GOP Senators who voted to impeach would look ridiculous after they voted to condemn the process. So don’t hold your breath on the vote. Mitt is going to be reluctant to do it.
