SEA ISLAND, Georgia John Kelly warned President Trump that hiring a yes man to succeed him as White House chief of staff would lead to impeachment and, in hindsight, regrets his decision to resign.
House Democrats launched an impeachment inquiry into Trump less than a year after Kelly departed the administration. The retired, four-star Marine general suggested the blame lies squarely with acting White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney and other advisers who are unable, or unwilling, to keep the president out of trouble.

Trump would be impeached by this house no matter what he does.
Truman said it first and said it best: “If you want a friend in Washington, get a dog.”
They planned on impeaching him the minute he won the election. If all they have is a phone call then they will fail yet again.
John Kelly: “I love ME, who do YOU love?”
POS
Enjoy your retirement and STHU!!!
Drucker is a huge Trump hater
and so is Rag .
“I dont believe that was a random question”
I think you are on to something. This whole thing seems to have been carefully orchestrated over a long period of time, replete with the usual rigged conversations. The “whistle blower” was merely the trip wire to get the show on the road. That is why Schiff no longer has any need of him. He is truly Steele Document II.
The ‘impeachment inquiry’ is about getting out in front of the coming indictments.
The Ukraine hoax is to cover-up the Russian Collusion Hoax.
Now, when the indictments start coming, they will say ‘Trump and Barr are just doing this for political revenge.
I’ve already heard those opening salvos.
Both Wash Examiner and Drucker hate Trump.
Its a Bush bot Open borders rag .
This is hilarious.
People pretending that there’s even a nod to actual cause and effect in the dem’s bullcrap is just amazing.
The “impeachment” play is all about narrative theater. It doesn’t make a lick of difference who was on the staff or not, what Trump did or not, it was going to happen.
The scumbags would have played this theater over the “two scoops” if they couldn’t come up with anything else.
This is all pretend to churn up their rabids.
And That. Is. All.
Translation: “I feel bad that I was fired.”
These folks always make everything about themselves
I believe Trump spent something like two full days -- maybe 12-16 hours total -- staging that interview with Stephanopoulos.
I don't know if he's his own worst enemy, but that seems like an awful lot of effort for an interview with a TV network that Trump derides constantly as "fake news."
Why cant these clowns that Trump fired just STFU? When I was fired, I was pissed but I let it go and you dont see me crying like a little girl and going to the press..
these assholes are just butt-hurt they were kicked out of the club..
“Translation: I feel bad that I was fired.
***
More “How dare he fire me??”..I was fired too more than a few times in life but I dont cry like a wimp afterwards like these pukes.
Oh, but he did see it coming...and they played right into his hands...he will expose each and every one of them...started with Biden Sr.& Jr, and will continue on through the line from there...sit back and enjoy...
Kelly just not a big picture type of guy. There’s a lot of that in the Republican ranks.
Ha—that’s about right!
Ding, ding, ding - we have a thread winnah!
Hmmmmm. I’m accustomed to senior naval officers full of themselves. I think this Marine general gives himself a bit too much blame or credit for events. Like there was this House takeover. Perhaps he is familiar with it.
