I imagine the parking charge is designed to keep out a lot of the riff raff.
Same here with the beaches in MA...i have ZERO problem paying the parking rate.
There’s something to be said for that, and you’re probably right. What sets this mall apart from many others is that it’s probably more of an “entertainment destination” than a shopping mall ... so many patrons will see a $24 parking charge as no different than a $24 charge to park for a major sports event.
