The White House plan was first reported by The Wall Street Journal.

They're not cancelling the govt's WSJ subscriptions? I love the Journal, but does the government have to buy news for their employees? All my career I've had to buy my newspapers and online sources. Why not just stream Fox Business or CNBC or countless other reputable sources?

I’m with you on that: the staff should be buying their own papers. The gov’t is NOT responsible for your coffee break/lunchtime reading material.

Noplace I have ever worked other than restaurants/bars ever bought the paper
