House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., on Tuesday said a fellow Republican lawmaker deconstructed a key part of the latest Trump impeachment inquiry witness testimony in Tuesday's closed-door session.
"In 90 seconds, we had John Ratcliffe destroy Taylor's whole argument."
The questioning by Ratcliffe, a Texas Republican and member of both the House Intelligence and Judiciary Committees, was an important moment in the hearing, McCarthy claimed.

This is a post a about nothing. Do not wast a minute of your life following the link like I did.
Quite simply, Kevin McCarthy is one of our dumbest members of Congress and it’d be a Blessing From Above if he’d simply disappear from the media altogether.
The gift to the democrats that keeps on giving.
Good info.
Let the pigeons begin
“The one thing that you find out in this process is all this information is just like that whistleblower... everything is second-, third-, and fourth-hand information,” he said.
He criticized Schiff for how he is conducting the proceedings, claiming the relevant Republican lawmakers are unable to view information from the hearings unless they are accompanied by the chairman’s staff members.
“What they are doing [is] they are changing every rule we ever had,” he said.
“Adam Schiff won’t let us talk about what happened,” he said regarding U.S. diplomat to Ukraine Bill Taylor’s closed-door hearing on Capitol Hill. “There is no quid pro quo.”
Adam Schiff wont let us talk about what happened,
What a bunch of gutless wonders we have in the GOP.
Republican leak?
Have Lindsey Graham interrogate Taylor in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee. No closed doors. No committee members excluded. Transcripts distributed. Oh, and if he has a copy of his House Intelligence Committee transcript with him for personal reference, the Senate Judiciary Committee makes a copy, since it’s being used to aid the witness’ testimony. If he does not have it with him, he better hope he has a good memory. Thus, despite Schiff’s machinations, the transcript becomes available at least to the committee, the testimony public. So, where’s Lindsey Graham?
From Wiki: McCarthy is a fourth-generation resident of Kern County. He is the first Republican in his immediate family, as his parents were members of the Democratic Party.
He attended California State University, Bakersfield, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in marketing in 1989 and a Master of Business Administration in 1994.
Of course he was a marketing major. Dipstick!
I won’t soon forget hearing McCarthy radio ads here in FLORIDA when he was running for Speaker. Well, minority leader actually. Whatever lobbyist was paying for a California Congressman’s ads in Florida must own him lock, stock and barrel. He is completely unreliable.
Radcliffe got Taylor to admit that Zelensky didnt know the aid was on hold
Congressman John Ratcliffe, the guy who should have been the DNI...
Adam Schiff wont let us talk about what happened, he said regarding U.S. diplomat to Ukraine Bill Taylors closed-door hearing on Capitol Hill. There is no quid pro quo.
Talk about it anyway if its an illegitimate process. Fight back for God’s sake!
I disagree -- it's not a "nothing" post at all.
Democrats have been trumpeting Taylor's testimony like it was a game-changer. They apparently even leaked his statement to the press. But as any good lawyer knows, a statement that seems powerful on the surface can evaporate under good cross-examination.
The point of this story is "Don't panic because of what the press is reporting about Taylor. It's actually much ado about nothing."
So personally, I'm glad I read it.
Let me know when this is the Headline on the front page of the NYT above the fold.
Until then it’s no more than Gossip.
This is a post that quoted one Senator talking about another senators testimony which cannot be revealed. After wasting time on this article you know nothing more then you started because it is third hand information
