Another month, another record number of murders in Mexico. For the first nine months of 2019, Mexico had 25,890 murders—almost six times as many murders per 100,000 people as in the U.S. Does Mexico need stricter gun control?
No. Its gun laws are among the least permissive in the world. For decades Mexico has had only one gun store in the entire country, a military-run establishment in Mexico City.

This is all Trump’s fault. His racist wall is keeping the murderers in Mexico, instead of letting them diffuse into the US and Canada, ultimately reaching Alaska, where they’d freeze to death.
There was a time 50 years ago, when Mexico had more knife murders than the US did with guns.
A newspaper article said it was because of the “Macho culture”, something we did not have to worry about here.
Well, now it is here.
