Democrats tabled a resolution Monday sponsored by nearly the entire House Republican conference to condemn House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff for deliberately fabricating a conversation between President Trump and Ukrainian President Zelensky.
Democrats passed a motion to table House Freedom Caucus Chairman Andy Biggs’ (R-AZ) resolution, which would condemn Schiff for misrepresenting a conversation between Trump and Zelensky.
The motion passed, with 218 votes in favor and 185 against the move. Democrats unanimously favored the motion, while Republicans opposed.
As the House moved to vote on the resolution, 184 House Republicans, or 93 percent of the House GOP caucus, cosponsored House Freedom Caucus Chairman Biggs’ H. Res. 630.
Schiff also allegedly lied about having never spoken to the Ukrainian intelligence officer “whistleblower.”
The resolution quickly became a rallying cry for Republicans to publicly voice their support for President Donald Trump amidst the impeachment inquiry as well as to fight House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) and Schiff’s secretive tactics to investigate the president for alleged wrongdoing.
Support for Biggs’ resolution came from across the Republican political spectrum. House Freedom Caucus conservatives, moderates, and House Republican leadership cosponsored the resolution.
Rep. Jody Hice (R-GA), a sponsor of the bill, said Monday that the vote tonight will censure the “shifty and dishonest” Rep. Schiff.

I believe that this Schiff desperately needs a lesson in due process via an application of the Ethan Allen remedy of tar and feather, running him out on a rail into the Potomoc.
Schiff is one of the dirtiest turds to soil the floor of Congress since its founding.

All wasted time and wasted words. The only way to successfully censure Schiff is for a couple million people to show up on the capitol steps, and that isn’t going to happen. THIS is what the people gave America when they gave the majority to the DEMS. They view it as their mandate. Overwhelming support of electing Trump was Russian collusion.
One of the Republicans should make up a pedophile conversation that Schiff had with a little boy and read it into record.

It’s a “censure” ... a form of “punishment” only slightly more effective if it’s actually imposed.

Democrats fight to win politically. GOP fights to get wealthy. They’re perfectly fine being in the minority as long as they get a slice of the pork pie. It’s that simple.
I understand what a censure is, a big nothing. BUT what he has done must have some consequences, don’t you agree? But instead by not censuring him, it gives the message (not to the informed) that what he said was accurate.
True enough ... but it will be forgotten by the end of the day (except to the Democrat/Left it will continue to serve as a “badge of honor” for the smarmy, lying Schiff).
The ‘RATS can’t take the heat. Poor babies.
