Hey! Druggies always run from the sound of a racking gun action. They use a crowbar to break in, go into their I’m cool hold the gun sideways stance, and say did you hear that? Then they run. Happens every time. It’s why the first sound you hear at my house is the last sound you ever hear. Sooner or later the drugged up dumbshits forget to run.
Also, you just advertised that either:
1. You keep your shotgun without one in the chamber, or
2. You just threw away one round.
How silly; so you have a home defense weapon, and have no intention of using it?
