Im from Flushing , Queens used to be white, union, solidly middle class Kennedy democrats. Archie Bunker was Astoria Queens, ...Now its a 3rd world craphole. Pockets of hipsters.
I stayed a night in Flushing, NY. As far as I can tell, there are more Asian restaurants per square kilometer than any town east of the Rockies.
Seems there are some fine places to live in Flushing — and the quality of the food in the mid-scale restaurants is very good.
