27 other NATO countries aren’t lifting a finger. Has the wonderful UN condemned Turkey’s actions? They are too busy electing Venezuela, Libya, and Sudan to their prestigious Human Rights Council. The US doesn’t need to involve itself in centuries old battles between backwards cultures. The rest of the world is an utter joke.
Rapid decision? President Trump publicly stated in April of 2018 that he planned to bring the troops home from Syria. It’s not as if people didn’t know it was coming.
He should join the earmongering dems.
Because there was no chaos in Turkey or Syria before.
My sense is that he doesn’t care.
Perhaps like NoName he feels bitter & entitled. I was a fan but he is not impressing me once on the job, due to his frequent sabotage of POTUS and his prima dona act.
The President clarified it was actually 26-28 special ops personnel. Even less suited to be left to turn back an advancing Turkish army.

Full respect for Crenshaw. Yet I wonder what happened to him. Did he fall and hit his head? Why are his strategic skills missing?

If history has taught us anything, it’s that our military thrives on chaos. The ‘perfumed prince’ with call-sign ‘Chaos’ turned out to be an over-rated dud who resigned due to too much chaos. Crenshaw needs to step back and re-evaluate all the times his missions didn’t go precisely as planned.
