I also see it as a favor to anyone who lives near another potential venue for the meeting. A G-7 summit is a disruptive pain in the ass, and I can pretty much guarantee that there would be a lot of whining and complaining from the locals if it was held anywhere else.

The Doral is in the middle of Miami metro. You don't think there aren't going to be a lot of whining and complaining from the locals there?
